- Decoration: 24 black olive slices (for eyes), 24 small capers (for decoration), 1 small carrot, peeled and finely diced (for optional star points)
Instructions
- Cut Stars:
- Using a star-shaped cookie cutter, cut out star shapes from each bread slice. You should get 24 stars.
- Mix Filling:
- In a bowl, mix the tuna, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, chopped chives, salt, and pepper until well blended.
- Spread Filling:
- Spread a generous spoonful of the tuna mixture onto half the bread stars.
- Assemble Sandwiches:
- Top with the remaining bread stars to form sandwiches.
- Decorate Eyes:
- Gently press two olive slices onto one point of each sandwich to create eyes. Place a caper in the center of each olive slice.
- Add Star Points:
- For extra detail, use tiny carrot pieces to decorate the tips of the star points.
- Serve:
