Cinnamon Hot Honey Popcorn (Print Version)

A sweet and spicy snack with cinnamon and hot honey glaze, ideal for movie nights or gatherings.

# What You'll Need:

→ Popcorn

01 - 1/2 cup popcorn kernels
02 - 2 tablespoons vegetable oil

→ Hot Honey Glaze

03 - 1/4 cup honey
04 - 1 tablespoon unsalted butter
05 - 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
06 - 1/4 to 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper, adjusted to taste
07 - Pinch of salt

# Cooking Steps:

01 - Heat vegetable oil in a large pot with lid over medium-high heat. Add popcorn kernels and cover. Shake pot occasionally until popping slows to 2–3 seconds between pops, approximately 4–5 minutes. Remove from heat and transfer popcorn to a large bowl, discarding unpopped kernels.
02 - In a small saucepan over low heat, combine honey, unsalted butter, ground cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt. Stir gently until butter melts and mixture is smooth and warm, about 2–3 minutes.
03 - Drizzle the hot honey glaze evenly over warm popcorn. Toss or stir thoroughly to ensure all kernels are coated.
04 - Allow coated popcorn to cool for 1–2 minutes so the glaze sets lightly. Serve immediately.
